Spooky Glitter Spider Web No-Carve Pumpkin Idea
Create a sparkling, no-carve spider web pumpkin with just glue, glitter, and a faux pumpkin.
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at pinkpeppermintdesign.com.
This no-carve pumpkin craft uses white glue and fine black glitter to form a shimmering spider web design on a real or faux pumpkin. After drawing the web with glue, you sprinkle glitter over it, let it dry, and brush off excess. Optionally, add a plastic spider for extra spookiness.

Directions
- Using white Elmer’s glue, sketch a spider web pattern on your pumpkin by forming concentric rings, each with a reverse scallop shape. Keep the glue lines thin for better control, and align the scallop points consistently from one ring to the next.
- With the rings complete, draw straight glue lines connecting the scallop points of one ring to the corresponding points of the adjacent ring, creating the web's radial spokes.
- Immediately after finishing all glue lines, place the pumpkin on a sheet of paper and generously sprinkle fine black glitter over every part covered with glue.
- Shake off the excess glitter, then let the pumpkin dry until the glue is completely set. Once dry, use a dry paintbrush to gently brush away any loose glitter from the pumpkin surface. For a finishing touch, you can place a plastic spider on the web.
