These Halloween marshmallow pops are easy to make with large marshmallows, candy melts, and sprinkles. Half-dip each marshmallow in melted candy, add sprinkles, and let dry on parchment. Use both black and orange melts to make a dozen festive treats.
Ingredients
Directions
- Prepare a baking sheet by covering it with parchment paper; this is where the dipped marshmallows will rest and dry.
- Put 1 cup of black candy melts (or orange) into a microwave-safe bowl along with 1 tablespoon of shortening or coconut oil.
- Microwave the mixture for 25 seconds, then stir. Repeat heating and stirring until fully melted and smooth.
- While the candy is melting, push a skewer into each of the 12 large marshmallows.
- Dip half a marshmallow into the melted candy, then let the extra drip off.
- Immediately sprinkle Halloween sprinkles over the coated part, then place the marshmallow pop on the parchment-lined sheet to set.
- Repeat with 5 more marshmallows using the same color candy melt, then melt the other color and coat the remaining 6 marshmallows.
