This DIY glitter pumpkin uses a glass jar, Pledge Floor Care Finish, orange glitter, and brown acrylic paint to create a festive fall decoration. The process involves coating the jar with the finish, applying glitter, painting the lid, and adding decorative elements like fake leaves and a cork. An optional battery-operated tealight adds a warm glow to the finished piece.

- Pour the Pledge Floor Care Finish into the glass jar.
- Secure the lid and tilt the jar to coat the entire interior surface. Place a sheet of wax paper beneath the lid to prevent any drips from sticking to it.
- Carefully pour any remaining finish back into the jar.
- Gently use Q-tips to smooth out the finish and eliminate any air bubbles.
- Add the orange glitter into the jar.
- Replace the lid and shake the jar vigorously to distribute the glitter evenly across the coated glass. Again, use wax paper under the lid to catch any excess glitter.
- Apply the brown acrylic paint to the lid. For added sparkle, mix in a small amount of metallic copper acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry fully.
- Attach the fake leaves and the cork to the painted lid using a hot glue gun. You can substitute a cork from a used bottle if you prefer.
- For an extra glow, place a battery-operated tealight inside the finished jar.
