Turkey Popcorn Handprint Treats Make The Best Thanksgiving Favors
PHOTO · HELLOYUMMY.CO

These Turkey Popcorn Handprint Treats are a fun and edible craft. Fill glove fingers with Goldfish crackers, use a red cracker thumb for the wattle, add popcorn in the palm, and finish with an orange paper beak and googly eye. They make festive party favors or snacks.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Take a clear disposable glove and fold the hand portion down so you can easily fill four of the fingers with multi-colored Goldfish crackers, packing them from tip to bottom.
  2. Use a cup filled with crackers to pour into the glove, then shake gently so the crackers settle fully into each finger space.
  3. Separate out the red Goldfish crackers and fill the thumb with only these red ones—this will become the turkey's wattle.
  4. Leave a small gap at the top of the thumb, then twist the thumb downward to create the wattle shape.
  5. Unfold the hand part and fill the middle area with popcorn, packing it fairly full so it holds the Goldfish crackers in place.
  6. Twist the bottom opening of the glove and fold it to the back, then secure with a piece of washi tape to keep the popcorn inside.
  7. Cut a triangle from orange construction paper, attach a glue dot to the back, and stick it onto the glove just above the wattle to form a beak.
  8. Add a googly eye to the front of the turkey, directly above the thumb (wattle).
