This Halloween party game uses toilet paper rolls to create a mummy‑themed prize ball. Kids take turns unwrapping layers to discover treats hidden inside, and the final product looks like a funny mummy head with googly eyes. It’s simple to make and guarantees messy fun—just be ready for the cleanup!

Directions

  1. Grab a single roll of toilet paper to serve as the core of your mummy.
  2. Take a second toilet paper roll and start wrapping it tightly around the first roll, pulling it snug as you go.
  3. Once the wrapping feels secure and the paper is holding well, begin inserting prizes (like small toys or candy) between the layers.
  4. Space the prizes a fair distance apart—this makes it more exciting for kids as they unwrap a long strip before finding a prize, then pass the roll to the next child.
  5. Continue rolling the toilet paper over the prizes to cover them.
  6. Keep adding layers and prizes until the bundle is large enough to resemble a human head.
  7. Turn the roll on its side and start wrapping in the opposite direction to form a ball shape; you can also insert more prizes during this step if you like.
  8. Finish by wrapping the ball in a criss‑cross pattern, leaving a small tail of toilet paper hanging out so it looks like a messy mummy.
  9. Use hot glue to attach googly eyes to the mummy head.
  10. Your mummy is complete! Just be prepared to clean up a lot of toilet paper after the party.
