Transform old bun feet into rustic wood pumpkins using wood dye and glossy shellac. Mask the centers with tape before sealing, then glue vintage hooks as stems. Display these unique pumpkins around your home for a seasonal touch.

- Assemble needed supplies: work gloves, a sizable drop cloth, and sponge brushes.
- Transfer wood dye into a small craft dish for simpler dipping.
- Using a sponge brush, coat the bun feet with wood dye—be aware that the dye tends to spatter.
- Cut small circles from painter's tape and place them over the top center of each bun foot to mask the area where the stem will go.
- Take everything outside and set up a spray area; apply 2 to 3 light layers of glossy shellac to seal the color.
- Peel off the painter's tape circles.
- Attach vintage swag hooks to the tops of the bun feet with glue, creating the pumpkin stems.
