You'll need
Directions
- Apply a layer of warm white craft paint to the exterior of both the 3-inch and 5-inch peat pots. Allow the coating to dry completely before moving on.
- Gather the black crepe paper roll by hand to create ruffles. Secure the gathered paper to the interior wall of the pot using a hot glue gun, positioning the bottom edge roughly half an inch down from the rim. Continue gluing around the entire circumference. For added volume, repeat this process with a second layer of ruffled paper.
- Wrap a strip of ribbon around the exterior top edge of the pot and secure it in place with hot glue.
- Take three pipe cleaners and intertwine them to form a sturdy braid. As you wrap ribbon around this braided core, use hot glue to attach the ribbon, creating a decorative handle.
- Position the completed handle on the inner top surface of the pot and fasten it securely with hot glue.
- Print your chosen design, such as a witch's hat, cut it out, and adhere it to the front of the container using glue.
