This DIY Halloween craft turns your child's handprints into a lasting spider memento. Using playdough and Plaster of Paris, you'll capture two overlapping handprints to form the body and legs. Once set, paint and add googly eyes for a fun, creepy-crawly decoration.

Directions
- Roll or press the playdough into a flat layer atop a sheet of wax paper.
- Have your child raise their thumb, then help them push their four fingers and palm firmly into the dough to leave a deep impression for sturdy spider legs.
- Turn the wax paper around so the handprints overlap, and press the other hand's four fingers in the opposite direction.
- Combine Plaster of Paris with slightly less water than the package instructs.
- Carefully pour the plaster mixture into the handprint mold.
- After the plaster has hardened, turn the whole thing over and gently remove the playdough.
- Decorate the plaster spider with acrylic paints.
- Finish by attaching googly eyes.
