Learn to make Halloween treat bags from patterned paper in just a few folds. Customize the depth by adjusting the bottom fold, then seal with baker's twine and tags for a festive finish.
You'll need
Directions
- Start by folding the paper into three parts: one thin band and two sections of the same size.
- Apply glue to the thin band, then fold it inward so it's hidden inside.
- Fold the bottom edge upward; adjusting where you make this crease changes how deep the bag will be.
- Unfold the bottom part to reveal two triangular flaps.
- Take the lower triangle and fold it upward, going past the center line.
- Fold the upper triangle down so it overlaps the lower section, then glue it in place.
- Carefully open the bag to its full shape.
- Seal the bag as desired. For example, fold the top down, punch a hole through the layers, and tie with black and orange baker's twine, attaching a tag if you like.
