You'll need

Directions

  1. Fold self-adhesive craft foam in half. Using scissors, cut out a curved horn shape. Remove paper backing from one side, leaving a small section of paper remaining at the base that you'll remove later when attaching the horns to the beverage tub. Press both sides together. Repeat these steps, using the first horn as a template, to create a second double-sided horn.
  2. Fold gold self-adhesive craft foam in half and cut out an arched shape with a curved bottom to represent smiling eyes. Create pupils by folding black self-adhesive craft foam in half and cutting out two small circles. Remove the black pupil's paper backing and attach to the gold eyes.
  3. Using scissors, cut a crooked grin (think of the Nike swoosh) out of purple self-adhesive craft foam. Then, cut a few rounded teeth out of white self-adhesive craft foam and attach.
  4. Flip the tub over and add a removable mounting square (or double-sided tape) to the tub's bottom, then top with inverted sand molds and press down to secure them. Note: This is a temporary hold so you can remove the feet easily and place them inside the tub for easy storage. For a more permanent hold, use hook-and-loop tape or moisture-resistant epoxy instead.
  5. Flip tub right-side up. Remove the remaining paper from the back of the horns and attach on either side of the beverage tub, then visually find the tub's center, remove the paper backing and attach the eyes and mouth.
  6. Place on the ground and fill with ice and an assortment of kid-friendly beverages so trick-or-treaters or Halloween party guests can help themselves.
