Duck Tape Trick or Treat Bag
Create a custom Halloween treat bag entirely from Duck Tape—no sewing required!
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at girllovesglam.com.
This project uses two rolls of printed Duck Tape and a solid color roll to craft a durable trick-or-treat bag. After making the bottom and side panels, you assemble the bag, add handles, and then insert the base. Decorate with stickers or leave as is for a fun, personalized Halloween accessory.

Directions
- To make the bag's base, press tape against the bottom of your existing bag and cut it to match that size.
- Place the cut tape flat. Cut a second identical piece. Arrange them next to each other with a slight overlap so they adhere.
- Duplicate steps 1 and 2 using your second printed tape design. This set becomes the bag's lining.
- Wrap tape around your existing bag to measure its circumference. Cut that length.
- Cut multiple additional strips of that same length. Overlap each one slightly to form a sheet as tall as you desire for the bag.
- Cut an equal number of strips from your other printed tape. Place the outer layer printed side down, then press the lining layer on top, adhesive sides together.
- For each handle, stick two long tape strips together. Shape into a handle curve and attach to the inner printed side. Repeat to have one handle per side.
- Fold the constructed sheet in half and tape the side edges shut. This gives a bag shape with an open bottom.
- Insert the base piece into the bag, gently bending it. Secure it by taping from both the interior and exterior for a sturdy hold.
- Your Duck Tape bag is complete. Optionally dress it up—for extra flair, I applied glow-in-the-dark stickers.
