This Halloween activity repurposes Skittles Twist & Pour dispensers after emptying them. Kids use chopsticks or their fingers to feed pom-poms into the ghost's mouth, practicing fine motor skills. It's a fun way to reuse candy packaging for skill-building play.

Directions

  1. Locate Halloween-themed Skittles Twist & Pour candy dispensers.
  2. Turn the dispenser to release the candy from its mouth.
  3. Repurpose the now-empty dispenser as a fine motor skills station.
  4. Provide training chopsticks and pom-poms.
  5. Have older children use the chopsticks to 'feed' the ghost, while younger kids can simply push pom-poms into the ghost's mouth to strengthen their pincer grasp.
