Create a glow-in-the-dark googly eye art piece by adhering black felt to a cardboard backing and gluing on pairs of glowing eyes. For an extra unsettling effect, mix and match eye sizes. Display in a frame if desired.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Cut your cardboard to 8 by 10 inches. Apply spray adhesive evenly, then lay the black felt on top and press down to smooth it. Use scissors to cut away any felt that extends past the cardboard edges.
  2. Using wet adhesive, start attaching glow in the dark googly eyes in pairs onto the felt surface.
  3. Continue gluing all the eyes. Most pairs are matched by size, but feel free to include a few mismatched sets—this adds an extra creepy, slightly unsettling look.
  4. If you like, place the completed felt panel into an 8 by 10 inch frame.
