Create a homemade Halloween countdown calendar from craft paper. You'll cut 31 pouches, number them, and attach them to cardboard or a string. Fill each with a small treat or note, then hang and open one each day leading up to Halloween.

- Using your craft paper, fashion 31 miniature pouches or envelopes by cutting them out.
- Write numbers 1 through 31 on each pouch, one per pouch.
- Affix each numbered pouch to a large piece of cardboard or suspend them from a string or ribbon.
- Place a small toy, candy, or written note inside every pouch.
- Hang the finished calendar and open one pouch each day until Halloween arrives.
