This project guides you through creating a Frankenstein-inspired door decoration using felt, card stock, and chalk. You will sketch the hair design, trace and cut the eye shapes using measuring cups and mixing bowls, prepare the white facial features from card stock, and finally attach everything to your door with Command strips to protect your paint.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Grab your chalk and sketch out the wild hair design directly onto the felt fabric.
  2. Place a measuring cup on the felt and trace around it to create perfect circles for the eyeballs.
  3. Next, position a mixing bowl over the felt and trace its rim to cut out the larger eye shapes.
  4. Cut out the white eyes and teeth shapes from your card stock.
  5. Attach the felt and paper pieces to your door using Command strips to keep your paint intact.
