This Halloween Feet Loaf recipe transforms classic meatloaf into a ghoulish centerpiece. Shaped like feet with onion toenails and a bloody ketchup glaze, it's baked to perfection and served warm. Perfect for a frightfully fun dinner party.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mince one onion finely and set aside 10 small pieces. Halve the other onion. Beat the eggs in a small bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced onion (reserving the 10 pieces), panko bread crumbs, beaten eggs, milk, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, dry mustard, and cayenne. Mix until everything is evenly distributed.
  4. Divide the meat mixture in half and place each half on the prepared baking sheet. Shape each portion into a foot shape, creating a bulge for the ankle and making slight indentations to suggest toes.
  5. Press a small reserved onion piece at the tip of each toe area to resemble a toenail.
  6. Form an ankle by pressing up the meat, then hollow out a divot on top to accommodate the ankle bone. Place the halved onion, cut side up, into each divot. The meat should hold its shape well.
  7. Mix a small amount of ketchup with a pinch of dry mustard to create a bloody-looking sauce. Brush this mixture over each foot, especially around the ankle area.
  8. Bake for 1 hour, or until the meat is fully cooked and a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part reaches a safe internal temperature.
  9. Carefully remove from the oven and let cool slightly. The result will be two eerily realistic feet that are sure to captivate your guests.
  10. To serve, place each foot on a decorative dish surrounded by creepy Halloween decorations. Slice with a knife and serve warm.
