Halloween Figurines for Spooky Decor

Transform old, chipped figurines into spooky Halloween decorations. This project uses glossy black spray paint and red painted eyes to give thrifted ceramics a eerie makeover. A clear topcoat ensures your creations last through the season.

- Arrange an outdoor painting area using a sawhorse or similar elevated surface so the figurines are easier to coat evenly.
- Create small loops of wide painter's tape to stick the figurines firmly in place on the table, stopping them from falling over.
- Spray two even layers of glossy black paint onto each figurine.
- Add spooky red eyes using a red paint pen or chalky red paint. Dip the blunt end of a bamboo skewer into the paint and dab it on to create round eyes.
- Finish by spraying a clear glossy topcoat over the painted figurines to seal and protect the design.
