This collection of 18 Halloween games is perfect for teens, featuring activities like guessing characters, popping balloon challenges, messy flour fights, and gross food dares. Each game comes with clear instructions, ensuring a fun and memorable Halloween bash.
Directions
- Pick a Halloween character for each guest without them knowing. They then mingle and ask yes/no questions to deduce their character, while others know who they are.
- Write different Halloween-themed activities on slips of paper and insert them into balloons before inflating. Each teen pops a balloon and must ask someone they don't know the answer to the question on their slip.
- Prepare ten questions with four possible answers. For example, ask 'What's your favorite pizza topping?' with options like pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, or cheese. Players move to the corner labeled with their choice.
- Fill canisters with small seasonal items and place them in a basket. Each teen grabs a canister, shakes it, and listens to find others with matching contents. Warn them not to open the containers. Note: this will be noisy.
- Sit in a circle and toss around an inflatable plastic pumpkin ball. Whoever catches it must answer a Halloween question printed on the pumpkin (e.g., 'Do you believe in ghosts?'), then toss it to someone else.
- Give each teen a bag of flour. On your signal, they run around the yard covering each other with flour. The person who is most covered in flour at the end of the timer becomes Casper the ghost.
- Recreate Fear Factor with gross foods. Use baby food to mimic vomit, stuffed olives for snake eyes, anchovies as fish bait, pickled eggplants for alligator eyes, and pork liver pate for toe fungus.
- Hang mini powdered donuts from the ceiling at mouth level. Teens must eat their donut without using their hands. The first to finish wins.
- Everyone dresses in all black Gothic attire, including makeup and wigs. Take a group photo, then each person posts it to their private contacts simultaneously. The first to get a like from someone not in the room wins.
- One player holds a balloon while their teammate turns away. The first player blows up and pops the balloon as fast as possible. If the second player screams when it pops, they're out.
- Set up pumpkins and ghost targets (on trees, in the garage, or indoors). Players toss bean bags and try to land them inside the targets.
- Hang a spider web poster on a wall, door, or table. Blindfold players, spin them a couple of times (optional), and have them try to place spider stickers on the web. Closest sticker wins.
- Place a plastic eyeball on a spoon. Players hold the spoon and race to a finish line without dropping the eyeball. First one there wins.
- Use an inflatable spider ring toss game. Set it up outdoors and have players toss rings onto the spider legs.
- Place Halloween golf signs with numbers 1-6 at various distances. Players use mini golf clubs to hit balls, trying to land on the signs. The player with the highest total score wins.
- Play Halloween Bingo using sets with images like black cats, ghosts, mummies, pumpkins, witches, and skeletons.
- Set up zombie targets (indoor or outdoor). Players use Nerf guns to shoot foam darts at the zombies. Great for parents and kids together.
- In this cooperative card game, players work together to protect Salem's children by stopping the Sanderson sisters from completing their potion before sunrise. Place potion ingredients in the cauldron and match them up. Binx helps you, but Mary, Winifred, and Sarah sabotage with spells.
