Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at theinspirationedit.com.
This Halloween craft uses a toilet paper tube and construction paper to make a friendly spider. Kids can choose their favorite color for the body and bright paper for the eyes. The project is simple, with only cutting and gluing required.
You'll need
Directions
- Get the spider toilet tube template and print it out. For the eyes, choose a fun, vibrant color of paper to print on.
- Carefully cut out all the template pieces and set them aside, paying extra attention when cutting the eyes.
- Cut a piece of black construction paper (or any color you like for the spider) that wraps around your toilet tube. The simplest method is to wrap the paper around the tube, secure it with a small piece of tape on the back, then trim off any extra paper from the top.
- Attach the paper to the tube: you can either use more tape on the back or remove the tape and apply glue directly to the tube.
- Glue the face features onto the front of the spider, and glue the legs onto the back of the spider.
