Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at cathiefilian.blogspot.com.
This Halloween craft transforms a wine bottle into a poison wine bottle decoration. You'll cover the bottle with Halloween paper using Mod Podge, decorate a wood tag with paint and rhinestones, and finish with spider webs, raffia, and a fake spider.
You'll need
Directions
- Take a piece of Halloween-themed decorative paper and cut it so it wraps around your wine bottle. Apply Mod Podge to both sides of the paper, then press it onto the bottle, covering it with another layer of Mod Podge on top. Use your fingers to smooth out any air bubbles and even out the brush strokes. Let the bottle dry completely.
- Select a wood tag and cut a matching piece of Halloween paper to cover it. Attach the paper using Mod Podge in the same method as the bottle. Once dry, lightly dry-brush black paint around the tag's edges. After the paint dries, use hot glue to affix rhinestones to the tag.
- Drape fake spider webs around the neck of the wine bottle. Wrap raffia several times around the neck, then tie the decorated wood tag onto the raffia. Finally, use hot glue to attach a fake spider to the tag.
