Create lasting Halloween memories by making handprint keepsakes from air dry clay. Simply press your toddler's hand into rolled-out clay, cut around the print, let it dry overnight, then paint and seal with Mod Podge. Add wiggly eyes or a date for a personalized spooky decoration.

- Take a piece of air dry clay and set it on a sheet of wax paper.
- Use a rolling pin to flatten the clay until it's roughly half an inch thick.
- Press the toddler's hand into the clay, making sure each finger and the palm heel leaves a clear impression.
- Lift the hand away and carefully trim the clay around the handprint outline using a knife.
- Allow the clay shape to dry completely overnight; if the air is humid, it may need more time. Do not put it in the oven.
- Paint the dried clay handprint with washable acrylic paint in your chosen colors, applying two coats and letting each coat dry between applications.
- Protect the paint by brushing on a layer of Mod Podge in gloss, matte, or satin finish.
- For extra flair, glue on wiggly eyes or write the child's name and date on the back with a Sharpie.
