Directions
- Arrange six popsicle sticks next to each other, then place two more horizontally across them.
- Cut the horizontal sticks so they are the same width as the six sticks underneath.
- Glue the horizontal sticks to the top and bottom of the six-stick group to create a solid base.
- Paint the whole popsicle base maroon for the scarecrow face.
- Use green paint for the Frankenstein monster face.
- Paint the base black for the bat face.
- Let the paint dry for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Glue googly eyes onto the scarecrow face about two-thirds of the way up the stick surface.
- Above the eyes, glue some straw rope to make the scarecrow's hair.
- Cut a triangle from black paper for the scarecrow's hat.
- From a lighter colored paper, cut a circle or oblong shape for the scarecrow's nose.
- Draw a smile on the scarecrow face using a marker.
- Again attach googly eyes for the scarecrow at the same height, two-thirds up the craft stick surface.
- Cut a strip of black paper as wide as the craft sticks with a zigzag edge; glue it above the eyes for Frankenstein's hair.
- Use a marker to draw scars, stitching, and a lopsided smile on Frankenstein's face.
- Once more, glue googly eyes for the scarecrow two-thirds up the stick surface.
- Cut two small triangles from black paper and glue them above the face for bat ears.
- Cut two wing shapes from black paper and glue them to both sides of the bat.
- Cut two small fang-shaped triangles from lighter paper. Glue them directly onto the craft sticks or first cut a dark circle for the mouth and place the fangs on top.
- Your popsicle stick monster faces are ready to be added to your Halloween decorations.
