Metal Pumpkins for Modern Fall Decor

This project transforms a basic wire pumpkin form into a sophisticated lantern by pairing a copper-painted wooden base with a sage wreath. Metallic faux leaves and LED candles add warmth, while a vintage basket filled with velvet pumpkins completes the look.

- Take the pear, vintage egg basket, and round wooden disk outside. Apply copper spray paint to all of these items at a designated painting station.
- Form a circular arrangement using faux sage leaves around the now-painted wooden disk, securing each leaf with hot glue as you work your way around.
- Insert the completed sage leaf wreath into the interior of a wire pumpkin form.
- Spray regular faux leaves with antique brass paint. Once dry, lightly dab on copper spray paint over the gold areas to achieve a metallic finish.
- Attach the painted metallic leaves to the metal pumpkins using hot glue.
- Place three small LED pillar candles together inside the pear/pumpkin to create a lantern effect.
- Fill the vintage egg basket with miniature velvet pumpkins.
