Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at healthyhappyimpactful.com.
This Halloween touch-and-feel game uses eight paper bags filled with creepy but safe items like pipe cleaner spiders and banana witch tongues. Children feel each bag, guess the contents, and compete to see who can identify the most spooky objects. It's a perfect activity for Halloween parties or classroom fun.
You'll need
Directions
- Take 8 paper bags and a marker. Label the bags with numbers 1 through 8.
- Place one of the spooky items inside each bag, corresponding to the list. For example, bag 1 gets the pipe cleaner tarantula legs, bag 2 gets half a banana for witch tongue, etc.
- Have the children reach in and feel each bag without looking. Ask them to guess what each item is. They can write down the bag number, the Halloween name listed, and their guess for the actual object.
- After everyone has felt all bags, reveal the contents and tally the correct guesses. The child with the most correct answers wins.
