Directions
- Cut two of the popsicle sticks shorter.
- Arrange nine sticks side by side to form a rough square shape.
- Glue the two shortened sticks horizontally across the back of the square with a hot glue gun.
- Use a pencil to lightly sketch a diagonal line across the upper portion of the square, dividing it into two sections for the hat and face.
- Apply flesh-colored paint to the area above the diagonal line for the face, and paint the area below with orange for the hat.
- Color the last unused stick orange with paint; this will become the hat's brim.
- Using hot glue, fix the orange brim stick, googly eyes, a small orange felt triangle for the nose, a dried fall flower, and strands of raffia as hair onto the scarecrow.
- With a black permanent marker, add a smiling mouth to complete the scarecrow's expression.
