These DIY Halloween coasters start with terracotta plant saucers, which you decorate with jack-o-lantern faces using black paint and stencils. After sealing and adding felt pads to the bottom, you'll have festive, functional coasters for your holiday gatherings.

- Trim your jack-o-lantern face stencils so they fit snugly inside the terracotta saucers without any folding.
- Using a stippling brush, gently dab black craft paint over the stencil openings to transfer the design onto the saucer surface.
- Apply a terracotta-specific sealant over the painted area to lock in the design and stop moisture from seeping through.
- Slice large circles from adhesive black felt and press them onto the bottoms of the coasters to prevent scratches on your tables.
