Transform a Lemonade Stand Into a Spooky Treat Station for Halloween

This project transforms a classic lemonade stand into a Halloween treat station using glittery purple and black paint. Stacked crates create display and storage space, while a banner and dowel rods add a festive touch. Fill it with eerie snacks like black candy apples and spooky lemonade for a chilling effect.

Directions

Combine glitter additive with purple paint, then apply the mixture to two wooden crates. Let them dry. Do the same using black paint and glitter on the other two crates.

While the crates are drying, take the black glitter paint and cover a 3-foot 1x12 board and two 4-foot pieces of 1/2-inch dowel rod. Allow these to dry completely.

After everything is dry, stack the crates in alternating colors and orientations so that two crates face inward for storage and two face outward for displaying treats.

Set the 1x12 board on top of the stacked crates.

Fasten a 1/2-pipe strap to each side of the stand, then insert the dowels into the straps.

Finish the stand by hanging a Halloween-themed banner between the dowel rods and filling the display area with an assortment of frightful treats.
