These fun witch-themed games are perfect for Halloween parties, from glow necklace toss to witch poo guessing. Kids will love bobbing for poison apples, limboing with a broomstick, and escaping the witch's room. Each game is simple to set up and guarantees ghoulish giggles.

Directions

  1. Arrange several pointed witch hats at varying distances. Have kids toss glow-in-the-dark necklaces, aiming to land them on the hats.
  2. Melt different types of candy bars on separate paper plates. Challenge partygoers to guess which candy the witch ate (or which is witch poo). The person with the most correct guesses wins a prize.
  3. Fill a large witch hat with a mix of witch-themed and Halloween items. Players take turns sticking their hands in (without looking) and trying to identify the item you call out. If they pull out the wrong item, it goes back and the hat passes to the next player. The one who identifies the most items wins.
  4. Give each child their own large bowl or bin filled with water and several small apples. They must use only their mouth to retrieve as many “poisoned” witch apples as possible within a time limit. The person who gets the most wins.
  5. Create a series of tasks and puzzles that kids must complete to escape the witch’s room. Decorate the room with fun witch decorations to set the scene.
  6. Play kid-friendly Halloween music and use a broomstick as a limbo pole. See how low the kids can go, and those who don’t want to limbo can have a dance party instead.
  7. Print a large picture of a witch. Give each child a sticky dot with their initials. Blindfold them, spin them gently, and have them try to place the dot on the witch’s nose. Award a prize to whoever gets closest.
