These Halloween pizza skulls are fun, customizable, and easy to make using a skull-shaped baking pan. Fill pizza dough with sauce, cheese, and toppings like sausage or pepperoni, then bake until golden. Serve with marinara for dipping—a perfect creepy treat for parties.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Lightly coat a mini skull baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. On a floured surface, roll or stretch the pizza dough to about 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into 6 roughly equal rectangles.
  3. Place one dough rectangle into a skull cavity. Add pizza sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and your choice of toppings. Spoon up to 1 tablespoon of extra sauce on top before sealing.
  4. Fold the dough over the fillings and pinch the edges to seal, forming a small pizza pocket. Repeat for all 6 pieces.
  5. Put the filled skull pan in the refrigerator while the oven preheats.
  6. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  7. Take the pan out of the fridge and bake for 16 to 20 minutes, until the dough is lightly golden brown. Baking time may vary depending on the dough.
  8. Let the pizza skulls cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then unmold. Serve with marinara sauce and a sprinkle of chopped parsley or basil if desired.
