These vibrant margaritas use purple cabbage-infused ice cubes that change color as they melt, creating a magical effect. The drink combines tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and lemonade for a refreshing, tangy flavor. Perfect for Halloween parties or any festive gathering.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Put sliced purple cabbage into a large heatproof bowl. Pour the boiling water over the cabbage and let it steep until the water turns a deep blue color, about 5 minutes. Strain out the cabbage and let the liquid cool down completely.
  2. Once the cabbage water is no longer warm, pour it into ice cube trays and freeze for 4 hours until solid.
  3. In a medium pitcher or large measuring cup, stir together tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and lemonade. Wet the rims of serving glasses with a lime wedge and dip them into the salt.
  4. Drop a few purple ice cubes into each prepared glass and pour the margarita mixture over them. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.
