DIY Halloween: Apelsinlykta
Turn an ordinary orange into a glowing Halloween lantern with this simple DIY.

Start by cutting off the top of an orange and scooping out all the flesh, including the membranes. Then use a sharp knife to carve a spooky design, like a star, into the peel. The result is a festive and eco-friendly lantern.

- Cut off the top of an orange to create a lid.
- Hollow out the inside using a knife to remove most of the flesh. The segments have thin membranes that cling to the peel; grab these at the rim and pull them off until the peel is clean and dry.
- With a sharp knife, carve a decoration into the peel. For the lid, cut a star-shaped opening.
