This DIY guide shows how to make three pumpkin-based treats: a hydrating face mask, a protein-packed smoothie, and a gentle lip scrub. Each uses simple ingredients like pumpkin puree, honey, and almond milk for a seasonal self-care routine.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, ½ teaspoon honey, and ½ teaspoon unsweetened almond milk. If using fresh pumpkin, scoop out the insides, remove seeds, and blend the pulp until creamy before mixing with honey and milk.
  2. Apply the mask to your face and neck with your fingers or a medium makeup brush, keeping it away from the eyes. Let it sit for about 20 minutes, then gently remove with a warm damp washcloth and follow up with moisturizer.
  3. For the smoothie: combine 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, ½ cup pumpkin puree, 1 teaspoon honey (or agave/sweetener), 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, and 6 ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth, then taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. For the lip balm: mix 2 tablespoons coconut oil, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon sugar, and 1 teaspoon pumpkin in a small bowl. Transfer to a covered jar. Apply to lips with a finger and rub gently back and forth, then finish with a layer of pumpkin pie lip balm.
