Directions
- Temporarily place the faux fur against the hardback book to check the fit, then cut away any extra.
- Apply adhesive to attach the fur to the book's surface and set aside until fully dry.
- Split the plastic vampire teeth into two separate pieces.
- Affix one tooth half to the book's top edge and the other to the bottom edge.
- (Optional) Splatter red watercolor paint over the teeth and book cover to resemble blood.
- Stick googly eyes onto the top part of the book.
- Select an eerie vintage-looking hardback book.
- Wind a metal chain around the book, adjusting the length based on size—my chain was about two feet long, similar to wrapping ribbon.
- Secure the chain in place using a metal lock.
- If the lock displays a brand name, use a black permanent marker to create a solid black bar over it.
