You'll need

Directions

  1. Figure out how you want to stack his arms and legs.
  2. Skewer the smaller pumpkins on your wooden sticks, and jam them into the body.
  3. Add a dab of hot glue between each pumpkin for extra strength and to prevent spinning.
  4. Put the 'hands' & 'feet' on just partway, so the skewer doesn't poke through the opposite side.
  5. Wrap a square of white fabric around a little stuffing, tie it shut with string, and trim off the excess fabric to make the hat body.
  6. Cover a strip of cardboard with blue felt to create the brim.
  7. Twist the brim into a circle and hot-glue it shut.
  8. Hot-glue the brim in place around the white fabric pouch.
  9. Use blue and red felt to make the sailor collar. Put the collar UNDER the head instead of around it.
  10. Do not glue the head on yet; wait until after everything is painted.
  11. Make the letters on the hat using a Cricut with vinyl, or paint them on with fabric paint.
  12. Cut vinyl strips for the white outline on the collar.
  13. Spray-paint the whole thing flat white, making sure to keep the head separate from the body.
  14. Once the paint is dry, hot-glue on the collar and then the head.
  15. Paint on his face and glue on his hat.
  16. Sketch a little Slimer, turn it into a paper chain, and cut it out.
  17. Glue two of the hands together to form a longer chain and outline edges with a Sharpie.
  18. Attach the paper chain to Stay Puft's hands with poster tack.
