These layered jello shots mimic candy corn colors using lemon, orange, and creamy white layers. Each layer is set with gelatin and spiked with whipped vodka. After chilling, they are sliced into triangles for a festive Halloween dessert.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together 1 cup water and 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk. Sprinkle 2 envelopes Knox Gelatin over the surface and let sit for 1 minute. Stir, then heat over medium setting, whisking constantly, until the gelatin fully dissolves (about 2 minutes). Do not let it boil; test by touching the mixture with your finger—it should feel smooth and not grainy. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup Pinnacle Whipped Vodka.
  2. Lightly grease two loaf pans with cooking spray. Divide the white mixture evenly between the pans (about 1 cup each). Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, until the layer is set but still slightly tacky to the touch.
  3. For the orange layer, combine 1 cup water and the small box of orange Jell-O in a medium saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk and whisk until blended. Sprinkle 1 envelope Knox Gelatin on top and let sit for 1 minute. Stir, then heat over medium, whisking, until the gelatin dissolves (about 2 minutes, no boiling). Remove from heat and whisk in 1 cup vodka.
  4. Carefully pour about 1 cup of the orange mixture over the white layer in each loaf pan. Return to the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, until the orange layer is set but still sticky.
  5. For the yellow layer, combine 1 cup water and the small box of lemon Jell-O in a medium saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk and whisk. Sprinkle 1 envelope Knox Gelatin on top and let sit for 1 minute. Stir, then heat over medium, whisking, until dissolved (about 2 minutes, no boiling). Remove from heat and whisk in 1 cup vodka.
  6. Carefully pour about 1 cup of the yellow mixture over the orange layer in each pan. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until the entire dessert is fully firm and set.
  7. To unmold, place each loaf pan in a shallow puddle of very hot water for about 30 seconds. Run a butter knife around the edges, then invert the pan onto your hand or a cutting board.
  8. Slice each loaf crosswise into pieces like you’re slicing bread. Then cut each slice diagonally into triangles to mimic candy corn shapes.
