Directions
- Get the template, print it, cut it out, and put it aside. Then have the kids color a piece of white paper with crayons.
- Combine black paint with just a few drops of dish soap in a bowl and stir.
- Using a large paintbrush, cover the entire crayon-colored paper with the paint mixture. Let it dry fully.
- Flip the dry painted paper over, trace the template on the back with a pencil, and cut out the shape.
- With a tool like a chopstick, scratch designs into the black paint—any pattern is fine. Use leftover paper bits to create extras like a fence or moon, then glue everything onto either bright or black cardstock or construction paper.
