Fun Halloween Tree Trick or Treat Game

This game combines a Halloween tree with mini pumpkin buckets filled with either treats or trick cards. Players pick a pumpkin at random and either keep the treat or perform a silly dare. After a trick, they can grab a treat from a bowl or try their luck again.

You'll need

Printable “trick” cards

Candy or other prizes for the treats (e.g., homemade treats like monster cookies, Halloween rice krispie treats, or ghost brownies)

Halloween tree of some sort

Mini plastic pumpkin treat buckets

Directions

Print the trick cards onto white card stock or standard paper, then cut them out.

Place either one trick card or one treat into each mini pumpkin bucket, making sure nothing sticks out from the bucket.

Hang the filled mini pumpkins onto your Halloween tree.

Decide who will take the first turn.

The active player selects a pumpkin from the tree. If it contains a treat, they keep it. If it contains a trick card, they must complete the dare written on it.

After performing a trick, the player may either take a treat from a nearby bowl or join the end of the line to pick another pumpkin.
