Create your own glowing Jack O' Lantern jars using simple materials like glass jars, glow sticks, and paint pens. Draw faces on the jars, then activate and carefully pour glow stick liquid inside to coat the glass. The jars will glow for 4 to 24 hours, perfect for decorating your Halloween party or porch.

Use a glass paint pen or a Sharpie to sketch and fill in spooky or silly faces on your clean glass jars.

Be aware that glow sticks typically shine for 4 to 24 hours. To maximize their use, wait until the day or evening of your event before cracking them open and transferring the liquid.

Follow the glow stick's instructions to activate it. Once it's glowing, hold it straight up with some air space at the top. Carefully cut off the top with an Exacto knife, then pour the glowing liquid into a jar. Screw the lid on tight, then tip and turn the jar so the liquid coats the inside surface.
