Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at jdaniel4smom.com.
These Halloween games use simple cardboard boxes for active fun. Kids can bowl with a plastic ball, compete to build the tallest tower, or race to move boxes using different motions. Perfect for indoor or outdoor parties with minimal setup.
Directions
- Bowling for Boxes: Set up the boxes in a tower or wall formation. Use a small plastic ball to try and knock them all down.
- Building a Tall Tower: Split the boxes into two equal piles. Two children each build a tower using only their own boxes. The winner is the one whose tower is tallest and still standing.
- Moving Boxes: Arrange the boxes into two piles at a starting line. Children transport their boxes one at a time to a finish line using a specified movement like walking, jumping, hopping, side-stepping, running, or galloping. The first team or person to move all their boxes across wins.
