Halloween Wreath
Create a spooky yet stylish Halloween wreath using adhesive borders and a foam form—no crafting skills required!
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at designimprovised.com.
This easy Halloween wreath project uses adhesive border strips wrapped around a foam wreath form. A bit of hot glue and masking tape keep everything secure, while the patterned borders create a festive look. Finish by covering the back with tape for a polished result.
You'll need
Directions
- Remove the border sheets from the pad and cut each one into two halves.
- Pull off the backing from one border piece and attach it around the foam wreath.
- Apply a small amount of hot glue at each end before placing it on the form to ensure it stays put. Alternatively, you can skip the glue if you plan to cover the back with tape as described in step 6.
- Keep attaching the border pieces around the whole wreath, varying the patterns as you go.
- When you've covered the entire front of the wreath, it will look complete and decorative.
- The back side may not be as neat, but that's fine because it won't be visible. I covered the back with thin black masking tape to hide any exposed foam and to secure the borders better. Even with glue, some edges lifted, but the tape held everything down well.
