Children use pre-cut paper shapes and googly eyes to create monsters on colorful backgrounds. A divided tray keeps materials organized for easy selection. Kids can design monsters with or without bodies, one eye or many, and add features like hair, spikes, or horns.

- Cut construction paper scraps into various shapes: large ovals, circles, squares, and triangles for bodies or heads; medium narrow triangles for spikes; regular triangles for horns; skinny rectangles for legs and hair; circles and rectangles for mouths; tiny triangles and rectangles for teeth.
- Set out a glue stick and googly eyes.
- Arrange the supplies, preferably in a divided tray.
- Give each child a background cut from a quarter-sheet of construction paper in different colors.
- Let kids assemble monsters from the tray shapes—they can skip bodies, use one giant eye or many, and add hair, spikes, or horns.
