- Gently insert a popsicle stick into the bottom of each apple slice, being careful not to break the apple.
- Use a paper towel to pat the apple slices dry.
- Melt the 16 ounces of orange chocolate candy coating according to the package directions.
- Fully submerge each apple slice in the melted orange coating, then tap off any excess.
- Place the coated slices on a flat surface covered with foil, parchment paper, or a silicone mat.
- Allow the apple slices to sit until the chocolate hardens completely.
- Melt the 16 ounces of chocolate candy coating according to the package directions.
- Let the melted chocolate cool for about a minute, then pour it into a piping bag.
- Pipe a simple Jack-O-Lantern face onto each apple slice using the chocolate.
- Let the apple slices sit again until the chocolate face hardens. Optionally, press a green Skittle into the top of each slice to mimic a stem.
