Transform a pumpkin into a functional mini keg by cutting a lid, hollowing it out, and installing a tap. Fill with your favorite beer, replace the lid, and dispense via the tap handle. It's a festive way to serve drinks at your next gathering.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. With a sharp serrated knife, slice roughly half an inch off the pumpkin's top to form a lid.
  2. Using a large spoon, scrape out all the pulp and seeds. You can discard them or save the seeds for roasting.
  3. About 2 to 3 inches above the pumpkin's bottom, use a coring tool or knife to create a hole matching the tap's diameter. Insert the tap through the hole and tighten the locking nut from the inside.
  4. Pour your chosen beer into the pumpkin, keeping the tap in a vertical position.
  5. Set the lid back on top. To serve, pull the tap handle forward and enjoy your mini keg.
