Directions
- Gather all supplies: dried black beans, dried orange lentils, a paper plate, orange ribbon, white glue, two bowls, a spoon, and scissors.
- Have your child mix the black beans and orange lentils together in a bowl using the spoon.
- While they play with the mixture, pour a generous amount of white glue onto the paper plate.
- Add the mixed beans and lentils over the glued area.
- Continue adding more beans and lentils until the glue is completely covered.
- Let the craft dry—placing it outside in the sun helps it dry faster.
- Once fully dry, cut out the center of the plate to create a ring shape.
- Shake off any loose beans or lentils that didn't stick.
- Tie or glue the orange ribbon to the top of the ring.
- Hang your finished decoration in a window or on a door!
