One Cool Cat Halloween Costume

This clever costume uses an oversized black sweatshirt as its base, adorned with marabou trim and a wired tail. Cat ears are crafted from sleeve fabric, and a sheer ribbon with floral wire whiskers completes the feline face. It's a simple, no-sew project perfect for a cool Halloween look.

- Start by making the devil costume base with an oversized black sweatshirt. Attach the marabou boa around the collar using fabric glue.
- From one sleeve, cut a 1-inch-wide strip at your preferred tail length. Straighten a metal hanger and glue it along the strip's center, then cover with marabou. Attach the finished tail to the back of the sweatshirt.
- Use leftover sleeve fabric to cut two triangles roughly 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Glue them to the top of a black headband. Inside each ear, glue a small marabou tuft.
- Measure from your child's nose around the face, then cut a length of sheer ribbon that can tie at the back of the head. Glue three 3-inch white floral wire pieces on each side of the ribbon's center, and top the center with a black pompom to create whiskers and a nose.
