Don’t Waste Halloween

Tips

• Decide NOT to waste your pumpkin.
• When you carve your jack-o-lantern, don’t throw the pumpkin guts in the trash -- scoop out the seeds and roast them!
• When the trick-or-treating is over, cut that jack-o-lantern into pieces and compost it to return nutrients to the soil.
• Donate any leftover edible pumpkins.
