This Melting Witch Hot Chocolate combines a creamy white chocolate base with a vibrant green hue, topped with homemade green whipped cream and a whimsical witch hat cookie. The cookie is made by piping orange icing onto a chocolate cookie and pressing a chocolate kiss into the center. It's a fun and festive drink perfect for Halloween parties.

Directions

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup heavy cream and 1 tablespoon sugar. Whip on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and a few drops of green food coloring. Set aside.

In a medium saucepan, combine 3 cups whole milk, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 8 ounces finely chopped white chocolate. Heat over medium-low, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate melts and the mixture begins to simmer. Do not let it boil or burn.

Stir in 1-2 drops of green food coloring until evenly tinted. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs.

To make witch hat cookies, flip each Fudge Stripe cookie so the chocolate side faces up. Fill a plastic sandwich bag with orange icing, snip a small corner, and pipe a circle of icing in the center of each cookie.

Press an unwrapped Hershey Kiss candy into the center of the orange icing on each cookie to form the hat.

Top each mug of hot chocolate with a generous dollop of green whipped cream and place a witch hat cookie on top.
